چکیده

Abstract In bovine females, the production of embryos derived from oocytes obtained by ovum pick-up (OPU) is becoming a frequent procedure. Collection pre-pubertal animals enables shortening genetic distance, especially in high-value animals. Nevertheless, oocyte and later embryo developmental potential differ between prepubertal adult heifers. The aim this study was to determine possible underlying causes for differences quality pubertal Cumulus complexes were collected via OPU. expression PLAC8, IFNτ, IGFR1, SOX2, OCT4 blastocysts evaluated. transcriptome peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors ( PPARs ), major genes involved metabolism development embryo, marker gene OCT4) day 7 or heifers differed significantly. basic biological processes early embryonic data may be used adjust culture conditions requirements heifers, predict possibility successful embryo.

Developmental stage on day-5 and fragmentation rate on day-3 can influence the implantation potential of top-quality blastocysts in IVF cycles with single embryo transfer

BACKGROUND In IVF-ICSI cycles with single embryo transfer (SET), embryo selection for transfer is of crucial importance. The present study aimed to define which embryo parameters might be related to the implantation potential of advanced blastocysts. METHODS Overall, in 203 cycles with SET, developmental characteristics of 93 implanted (group A) and 110 non-implanted (group B) advanced blasto...

P-47: Effect of Blastocoelic Fluid Reduction on Quality and Expression of Developmentally Important Genes in Mouse Blastocysts

Background Recent researches reveal that manual puncturing of the trophectoderm of blastocyst before vitrification, increase the quality of embryo. However, in any of these studies, the importance of blastocoelic fluid and its impact on the formation of three cell lines is not mentioned. Therefore, in the present study, the effect of blastocoelic fluid reduction before vitrification on survival...

Gene expression profiling of individual bovine nuclear transfer blastocysts.

During somatic cell nuclear transfer the gene expression profile of the donor cell has to be changed or reprogrammed extensively to reflect that of a normal embryo. In this study we focused on the switching on of embryonic genes by screening with a microarray consisting of 5000 independent cDNA isolates derived from a bovine blastocyst library which we constructed for this purpose. Expression p...
